At South Shore Dentistry, Dr. Larry Burt offers general and cosmetic dentistry services. Dr. Burt is the top dentist in Weymouth, MA offering porcelain dental veneers, dental implants, same-day crowns, and dental bridges. Dr. Burt received his education at California Polytechnic University and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Madeline Worden began her college career at the University of New Hampshire where she earned her degree in Biomedical Sciences. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. From there, she pursued her dental doctorate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, followed by a General Practice Residency at St. Peter’s Hospital in New York. Dr. Worden’s residency included intensive clinical training to treat medically compromised patients, handle complex dental cases, manage facial and dental trauma, and provide comprehensive dental treatment under general anesthesia. Dr. Worden has a strong passion for dentistry and is constantly continuing her education and developing new skills to offer the best treatment to her patients. She has completed additional training in implant placement and Clear Correct orthodontic aligners. Aside from Dentistry, Dr. Worden enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, traveling, and practicing yoga.
Dr. Luisa Amunategui, from Shaker Heights, Ohio, graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's in Biology and worked as a dental assistant before attending Case Western Reserve University for dental school. At Case, she was Student Council Secretary and held leadership roles in the Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. She graduated top of her class, earning the Dean's Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence. After graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in complex dental procedures, sedation, and Invisalign. Dr. Amunategui is passionate about providing compassionate care and committed to lifelong learning. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, skiing and plans to learn sailing this year.

While implant installation and temporary dental crowns can be placed in one day, most patients need approximately 6 months to completely heal prior to the final permanent prosthesis placement.
Gums do need to be healthy to properly support dental implants, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of this permanent tooth loss solution!
Our dentists will work with you to treat your periodontal disease and restore your gum health. After the health of the gums and jawbone has been restored, we can move forward in placing your dental implants.
